140 g chickpeas,
boiled
5 ml extra virgin
olive oil
2 tbsp tahini paste
1 g garlic powder
2 g cumin powder

1/2 tsp lemon
juice
4 ml water
Salt, to taste
2 small pita
breads
3 g coriander
leaves, to garnish

SERVES: 2 > PREP TIME: 15 minutes > COOKING TIME: 5 minutes


  1. Blend the chickpeas, olive oil, tahini paste, garlic powder, cumin powder,
    lemon juice, water, and salt in a mixer for up to 10 minutes.
    2. Spread the hummus on the pita breads,
    and garnish with coriander leaves.

  2. Heat a pan on a low flame, and slowly toast the loaded pita breads.

  3. Serve hot.


TIP:SPRINKLE CHILLI FLAKES OVER THE HUMMUS BEFORE SERVING.
