The award-winning tour operator Llama Travel
has launched a new destination – Africa! Voted
joint top travel company by Wanderlust readers
last year, Llama Travel has developed a great
formula of Žlexible small group tours in Latin
America, but now they’re branching out into
southern Africa, o’ ering trips to Namibia,
South Africa, Botswana and Victoria Falls.
If you book before the end of 2019, they’ll
include a package of free optional excursions.

It may be a little-known destination, but with its revival of more than
2,500 animals, including gira  es and lions, Malawi’s Majete Wildlife
Reserve deserves far more attention. Now, wild cheetahs are the
new focus of conservationists – for the irst time in 20 years, the
predator will be spotted roaming the park. Translocated from
South Africa by African Parks and the Endangered Wildlife Trust,
the four cheetahs have been busy adapting to their new home.
Majete’s wildlife took a hit a few decades back, but nowadays,
it’s Malawi’s only Big Five park, and visitors can experience guided
walks and game drives.
