Suzanne Thorp is a visionary cake
artist and instructor who has been
creating cakes professionally for over
twenty years. She owns and runs the
Manchester based cake studio, The
Frostery, overseeing a team of four.
Initially learning her craft at her parents’
bakery, Suzanne studied cake decorating.She has a Certificate in Education and
spent several years teaching children
and adults cake decorating skills. She is
best known for her beautifully detailed,
award-winning wedding cakes using
traditional and modern techniques with
artistic expression and for her regular
appearances on the Channel 4 series,
