the decorations and accessories,

the sofas, the lighting, and even

the flowers planted in the grounds

before the wedding!

We chose a black tie dress code

for the day, and I wore a beautiful

strapless dress by Pronovias. It

wasn’t at all what I expected to

choose (and did have some worries

before the day that it was too big),

but when I put it on with my hair

and make-up done on the day, I

knew I’d made the right choice.

In fact, everything just fell

together perfectly on the day, and

all the hard work, planning and

organising over the previous 18

months really paid off. I loved being

able to enjoy the day and not worry

about anything. All our guests had

a wonderful time and were really

looked after, and the sun even came

out following five days of torrential

rain – we were both thrilled!
