REAL-LIFE WEDDINGS

Instead of a bouquet, I carried a
giant crepe paper rose, decorated
with lots of pearls and gems. I also
made my floral headpiece. We added
some quirky touches to the ushers’
outfits too I found wooden bow ties
on Etsy, and there were tiny little
birds in the buttonholes!
The star of the show had to be the
huge illuminated letters my talented
dad made for us they, along with
the coloured pom poms, were one of
my favourite details. I also loved our
cherry blossom wishing tree where
guests could leave their wishes

Japanese touch to the day, as it’s
where we got engaged and where we
were going on honeymoon.
The best part of the day was
definitely saying our vows to one
another. We each wrote our own and
hadn’t heard the other’s beforehand
Kong’s were absolutely amazing
and had lots of guests in tears!
