ENGINEERED FOR BANISHING RIDER FATIGUE

■ (^) Stable ski spindle
and stopper
One of the refinements that orches-
trates big rider benefits is the revised
ski spindle and ski stopper. This adjust-
ment gives the rider a more predictable
ride and added confidence when experi-
encing conditions that are less than
ideal. It does this by keeping the ski flat
and the ski tips down when traversing
gaps. We noticed a significant change in
handling when sidehilling through crud-
dy snow, or through bumpy rutted out
ascents.
■ (^) Trimmed tunnel
Another change is a shortened tunnel.
This allows for the easy evacuation of
snow. By essentially taking the 154 tun-
nel and applying it to a 165 model the
rider no longer fights the tunnel drag-
ging the snow on deep powder days or
on steep climbs. Just a word of caution
to the rider: there is no longer a wheelie
bar to keep you from going over back-
wards, just ask test rider Lonnie
