the medals, and
Bronze went to
the second-
placed three-
year-old, El
Valentino, an
Excalibur EA son owned by Al Saqran Stud. The judges
were a bit more divided in this case, but El Valentino
got two votes, with one vote each for D Jari and for D
Sham, yet another FA El Rasheem son, who was third
in his class.
The results were rather more diverse in the senior
section, though the Bronze mare title also went to a
Dubai horse, the striking chestnut mare D Khattafah
(Royal Colours x D Jowan by Marwan Al Shaqab) who
won the four to six-year-old mares. She is owned by Al
Jawaher Stud, also of the Emirates. Silver and Gold
went to the two top mares from the seven to nine-
