It may not seem immediately obvious, but Roksanda has
incorporated her own female idols throughout the home.
Books by artists who have inspired her fashion collections
including Sonia Delaunay, Eva Hesse and Anni Albers are
displayed on tables and shelves, while much of the decor
was designed and made by female creatives – take the
mural in the dining area by French artist Caroline Denervaud
and the Charlotte Perriand table in the study. Many vessels
were made by female ceramicists including Australian artist
Alana Wilson, and Roksanda’s florist, furniture dealer and
gardener are all women. What better way to add a feminine
touch than to include women whose work you admire? A
