Wrap your wrist in this lightweight and flexible bracelet

featuring crescent beads and pearls.

How to pick up the crescent beads: With the
tips pointing down toward your bead mat, sew
through the left hole (LH) or the right hole (RH),
going from front to back or back to front, per
the instructions.

COMPONENTS
1) On 1 yd. (.9 m) of thread, pick up a crescent
bead (LH, front to back), an 11 0 cylinder bead,
two MiniDuo beads, a cylinder, a crescent
(LH, front to back), and an 11 0 seed bead twice.
Leaving a 6-in. (15 cm) tail, retrace the thread
path a couple of times (not shown in the figure
for clarity), to form a ring (figure 1, a–b).
Continue through the next three beads to exit
the first MiniDuo, and sew through the open
hole of the same MiniDuo (b–c).
2) Pick up a 4 mm pearl, and sew through the
open hole of the next crescent (figure 2, a–b).
Pick up two 11 0 s, and sew through the following
110 (b–c). Pick up two 11 0 s, and sew through
the open hole of the next crescent (c–d). Pick
up a 4 mm pearl, and sew through the open
hole of the following MiniDuo (d–e). Pick up an
110 , and sew through the open hole of the next

MiniDuo (e–f). Repeat these stitches to complete
the round (f–g), and sew through the following
4 mm pearl and outer hole of the crescent (g–h).
3) Pick up two 11 0 s, two crescents (LH, back to
front), and two 11 0 s, and sew through the outer
hole of the next crescent (figure 3, a–b). Pick
up six color B 15 0 seed beads, an 8 0 seed bead,
and six Bs, and sew through the outer hole of
the following crescent (b–c), making sure that
the Bs are positioned above the 4 mm pearls.
Pick up two 11 0 s, two crescents (RH, front to
back), and two 11 0 s, and sew through the outer
hole of the next crescent (c–d). Pick up six Bs,
and sew through the 8 0 seed bead (d–e). Pick
up six Bs, and sew through the outer hole of the
following crescent (e–f), the next two 11 0 s, and
the following two crescents (f–g). End the tail
but not the working thread.
4) Repeats steps 1–3 to make two more
components.

JOINING COMPONENTS
1) With the working thread exiting two cres-
cents, pick up a color A 15 0 seed bead, an 11 0 ,
and an A, and sew through the open holes of

the same two crescents your thread is exiting
(figure 4, a–b). Pick up an A, an 11 0 , and
an A, and continue through the inside hole
of the same two crescents (b–c). Sew through
the next A, 11 0 , A, and two crescents (c–d).
2) Pick up three As, a 4 mm pearl, and three
As, and sew through the same hole of the two
crescents your thread is exiting (figure 5, a–b).
Continue through the following three As and
4 mm pearl (b–c), making sure the 4 mm pearl
is positioned on top of the crescent tips.
3) Position another component, with the
working thread on the right side, to the right
of the one you are working on. With the work-
ing thread from the first component, pick up
three As, and sew through the open holes of the
adjacent two crescents on the new component
(figure 6, a–b). Pick up three As, and sew
through the 4 mm pearl your thread exited
at the start of this step (b–c). Continue through
the following three As and two crescents (c–d),
making sure the 4 mm pearl is positioned on
top of the tips of the crescents.
4) Work as in step 1 to add an A, 11 0 , and A
to each side of the crescents (d–e).
5) Sew through the next six edge beads, sewing
toward the pearl (figure 7, a–b). Pick up an
