BIG PERSONALITY

Big horizons. Big family.

Big futures.

We’re pushing boundaries every day.
Our pupils are engaged global citizens
because they’re challenged and supported
as individuals in everything they do.
They’ve gone on to win Olympic medals,
BAFTAs and OBEs, pioneer AIDS research
and communicate with men on the moon.

Want to find out more about our big
opportunities? Come and see for yourselves...

SMALL SCHOOL;

BIG OPPORTUNITIES;

BIG HORIZONS AND BIG FUTURES

t Morrison’s Academy every child is
encouraged to discover their passion
for sport and more importantly be
given the opportunity to fully participate. Guided
by our talented team of committed teachers,
coaches and instructors, pupils develop their
skills in a wide range of sports in a safe and
fun environment. We believe that team sports
encourage friendship, discipline, resilience
and determination and our Rugby programme,
offered from Primary school all the way through
to S6 is a prime example of this.
Rugby at Morrison’s Academy is delivered
through an extensive timetable of competitive
matches, recreational co-curricular sports
programmes and camps during the holidays.
Supported by lunchtime and after-school
practices, our Saturday morning fixtures
allow pupils from Primary six to 1st XV level to
experience the values of team sport while
representing the school with pride, passion
and a collective spirit. Our pupils’ horizons are

broadened through combined training and
matches with a variety of teams, ranging from
clubs such as Crieff and Strathearn Rugby Club
to local Primary and Secondary schools in the
Strathearn area, as well as participating further
afield in the Barbarian Conference and Scottish
Cup.
We are proud to say that some of our current
and former pupils have achieved success in
domestic and international competition; Nairn
MacEwan, Lewis Dick, Simon Taylor and Andrew
McLean to name a few; enjoying fulfilling
careers in the sport they love. While we can not
take credit for their talent, we do believe that
we helped instill a love of the game in many of
our pupils, to the benefit of the individual, the
School and the rugby community in Scotland.
Morrison’s Academy remains committed to
this wonderful sport and we look forward to
supporting many more young talented players
in the future.
