Commenting
on the split for
the first time last
week, Hunger
Games actor Liam,
29, said: ‘You
don’t understand
what it’s like. I
don’t want to
talk about it.’ He
then shared an
Instagram post
saying that the
pair had ‘recently
separated’ and
added: ‘I wish her
nothing but health
and happiness going forward.’
Liam and Miley tied the knot on
December 23, 2018 at their home
in Franklin, Tennessee in a low-key
ceremony attended by family and
close friends. They had originally
planned to get married at their home
in Malibu but it was destroyed in the
Woolsey wildfires. Miley has now
reportedly moved into the house
next door to their marital home,
which she and Liam bought for justover £2 million while they were still
together. The home was thankfully
saved from the fires.
Miley and Liam’s love story began
in June 2009 when they starred
opposite each other in The Last
Song. They then went public with
their relationship
in 2010 and
confirmed their
engagement in
June 2012, but
by August 2013
it was all over. In
2016 rumours
started swirling
that the pair were
back together,
and in March
of that year the
couple confirmed
the engagement
was back on.
Before their
split, a usually gushy Miley hadn’t
shared a post about Liam on
Instagram since May 8. The pair
reportedly broke up in early July
but kept it a secret until earlier this
month, with Liam even cancelling a
trip to the UK to see Miley perform
