A SERIAL BRIDE?
Legal or not, the fourth time wasn’t the
charm for Geena, who was previously wed
to restaurateur Richard Emmolo from
1982 to 1983, actor Jeff Goldblum from
1987 to 1990 and director Renny Harlin
from 1993 to 1998. “She loves being in a
relationship, that’s why she was so open
to building a life with Reza,” says a
source. “But she’s the first one to tell
you marriage just isn’t for her anymore!”married life and joked about Reza being
her fourth husband (see box). In an effort to
prove to the court that he and Geena are, in
fact, married, Reza recently submitted as
evidence their wedding video. But Geena is
arguing it shouldn’t be admissible because
she claims it was heavily edited and is not an
“accurate representation” of the day.
To try to prove her case even further, the
Thelma & Louise star has submitted a 2012
bank loan document, allegedly signed by
Reza, in which he states, “I filed my 2009
tax returns as a single individual because I
am not currently married. Miss Davis and I
cohabitate and co-parent our three children
but are not officially wed.” She also claims
he never obtained insurance through her
SAG-AFTR A union membership because he
didn’t “qualify as a family member.”
And while many are left scratching their
heads over what, exactly, is the true status
of Geena and Reza’s relationship, the ac-
tress herself “is sure that she’s not only right,
but that she will prevail in court,” says the
source. “After all, she says she has the truth
