don’t seem to mind if you overhang or occupy more than

of M80.
Glasgow Science Centre(G51 1EA). £5 for up to ninehours
with a 30-min walk along the river or a bus service into the
city centre.
HIGHLAND
CROMARTY
The Links(IV118XP) is a grassy area on the banks of the
CromartyFirth. Lovely views. A lady from a nearby house came
to tell us that it was OK to stay thenight.

are all free with no height barriers.
NEPTUNE’S STAIRCASE
Neptune’s Staircase(PH33 7NG) is a series of locks on the
Caledonian Canal, which are very peaceful and there is a good
big car park there with no height or weight restrictions. There
is a local bus service from here intoFort William every 30
minutes.
POOLEWE
ÉDedicated parking for campervansatInverewe Gardens(IV22
2LG). Also informal camping isavailable in a field on the road
to Cove fromPoolewe, which runs up the side of Loch Ewe(a
single track road withplent y of passing places). A donation of
£10 per week is requested. The key to thegate is obtainableat
the bungalow. Rubbish binat gate, concrete basesavailable.

ULLAPOOL
The town hasexce llent free parking for motorhomes (IV26
2XB) with designated bays, but overnight parking isnot
all owed. Next to the car park is aTesco with recycling
facilities. On entering Ullapool on the A835, bear right
signposted ArdmairPoint, then after 200yards turn left
before thepelican crossing, follow the wide residential road
to end, turn right then first left, follow road to the end. It’sa
short walk to the harbour.

BUCKIE

ELGIN
Lossie Green Car Park(IV301RJ) on Boroughbriggs. An
open-air long stay car park with 13 lorry bays (suitable for
motorhome/caravan). Should these be full, the next section of
the car park has secondary markings (akin to double parking
bays). Lorry bays are free, car parking bays are £1.00 per
day. Where a motorist is occupying two car parking bays
they should purchase two parking tickets.Pay and display is
operational Monday - Saturday 8am - 6pm.
LossieWynd(IV30 1QB). 78 spaces, no height restrictions. £1
per day.
