The NationalCaravan Counci l’s

The sc heme, which has been

the Camping and CaravanningClub t o

and workshops offering motorhome
and caravan habitatio n services.
The nationwide scheme, which ha s
both fixed and mobile workshops, is
the only one of its kind tobe supported
by all of the major UKcaravan an d

approved workshops to carr y out

“Unlike anyother ser vice engineer
schemes, all of our workshops are
monito red throughout the year as well
as being assessed annually (by a team
of independent assessors) to ensure
they are continuously qualified to the
correct standards, have the relevant
insurances, ca librated tools and
equipment andprofessional customer
practices,” said Sarah Wigmore, the
Approved Workshop SchemeManager.

TOURING
FOREIGN TOURING TICKET SOLUTION
Motorhomers and campervanners who receive a penalty inefor a driving offence in
other European countries can now take advantage of a new payment system.
In most EU countries, drivers pay speeding or parking ines through local channels,
and this includes tourists who cannot currently pay online using aforeign credit card.
Therefore, until recently, the onlywaysfor foreign drivers to pay a penalty after
returning home or onto another countrywerebyusing cross-border bank transfers or
money wires. Thefeesfor using these can sometimes be more expensive than the
trafic tickets themselves.
NowPayTicket has been launched, which uses a digital payment platform to allow
motorists to pay international driving ines securely with their credit or debit card.
