LYNSEY’S TRIKE
First off, before we receive letters written in green crayon, Lynsey is not a
member of the National Chopper Club, due to being a lady sort of person.
However, her trike deserves its place in this feature because she inherited
it from her brother, Stevie of NCC Sussex, who is sadly no longer with us.
The one-off thick tube perimeter frame is a one-off fabrication by Stevie,
while the trike runs a Rover 3.9 Rover V8 with an auto ’box. At the rear is a
narrowed Jag rear axle and Stevie built the leading link front end. The trike
stands as testament to his work and to the respect in which both Stevie was
held by his club brothers and, now ridden by Lyndsey, we feel it very much
deserves its place in this feature.
