bright, but he wore it proudly.”IN 1974, ANITA ALCORN, now of Oak Ridge,
Tennessee, talked her husband, Joe, into
entering a fashion show wearing the leisure
suit she made for him. He took first prize—
$15. She used his winnings to buy more
polyester knit.
