Dennis Ezmerlian chopped the top off his International Scout and
scratchbuilt its interior. He modified the frame, upgraded the wheels
and tires, and airbrushed the body with fingernail polish.

“I came upon the Firebird Designs decals and happened to have the
parts, so I built it,” says Bob Kremer of his ’67 Camaro Indy 500 pace
car. He combined an AMT body, Revell interior, chassis, engine, and a
bunch of resin and photo-etched parts to come up with an accurate
reproduction.

“I drag race, so, I build drag cars,” says Bill Cech. He built the Moebius
Models Butch Leal 1965 Plymouth Belvedere box stock and covered it
with Testors paint and clear coat.

This monstrous 1949 Mercury took Deborah Salmon three months to
complete. She used rhinestones for the head and taillights and
pinewood derby body skins for the interior. Monster decals from
Vantasy and Testors sublime green make this a Merc to remember.

Hugh Heidt built this fire-breathing McLaren MP4-12C from a Fujimi kit and kicked it up with Von
Ryan Racing decals from Studio 27. He dressed his mostly stock build with Model Master paints.
