BY STEPHEN PRICE

This week, Sky 1’s sporty panel
show returned for a 14th series,
now with a rotating host – the
price of too much carpooling and
too many late, late nights, perhaps.
Meanwhile, Emma Willis delivered
several new infants, while Quest
continued to fi nd gold – and
general salvage – in them thar hills.
Series 14 of Sky 1’s A League Of
Their Own launched on Thursday
15 August at 9pm with 294,000/
2%, 68,000 fewer than, but effec-
tively on par in share with, last
August’s opener (362,000/2%).
The best overnight rating for
last year’s run was 388,000/2%
on 13 September. Two repeats
of the series 14 opener added
149,000 to total 443,000.
With all 16 episodes available
on-demand, the third episode of
Sky 1’s acquired series Manifest
drew 98,000/0.6% at 9pm on
Tuesday – 50,000 and 0.3 share
points fewer than last week’s
148,000/0.9%. Friday’s midnight
repeat added 13,000. Last week
totalled 220,000 after two repeats.
The second episode of Emma
Willis: Delivering Babies series
two on W attracted 93,000/0.8%
at 10pm on Monday in overnights,
all but par with last week’s opener
(95,000/0.8%). After four repeats,
episode two totalled 276,000, com-
pared with last week’s 384,000.
Quest’s best was Aussie Gold
Hunters at 9pm on Monday with
365,000/2%, ahead of Salvage
Hunters (340,000/2%) at 9pm
on Wednesday.
Dave’s Expedition With Steve
Backshall drew 274,000/2% on
Sunday at 8pm, 28,000 behind
last week.
