It’s not often that a car comes for sale with not only the

materials to build more, but also a near-complete facsimile

of itself. But that is exactly the proposition that designer

Dave Wilson is advertising in our classifieds on page 98.

You may recognise his self titled KLX5 from the

November 2015 issue of Complete Kit Car, as well as from

the marque’s debut stand at the Stoneleigh Kit Car Show

the following year.

Sadly with other projects taking priority, Dave hasn’t

been able to market the MX-5 rebody properly and is

selling the Mk1 based demonstrator alongside its tooling,

moulds and a Mk2 based version of the same kit for £8000.

Classic Coachworks has recently added

a Ferrari 275 replica to its range of

BMW Z3 based body conversions and

is now taking orders for full hardtop

coupé kits – a cabriolet version will be

available in the near future.
