On the Settings screen, look for the
switch titled Restricted Mode and
then tap to turn it on. It’s not 100% effective

your kids’ use for watching YouTube.

If the YouTube app is already signed
into an account, tap the photo in the
top right corner, and tap Manage your Google
Account at the top. On the next screen, tap
Remove Account from This Device.
2
A pop-up window invites you to remove
the account from that iPhone. Tap
Remove, and the account will be wiped from
the YouTube app. On the YouTube front page,
tap the top right icon again.
3
You’re asked to sign in. Tap Continue,
and when invited to sign in with your
existing account, tap Use Another Account. To
create an account, enter the email of the child
in question and tap Create Account.
4
Follow the on-screen instructions,
entering the child’s birthday. When you
reach this screen, to continue it is necessary for
a parent to sign into their own Google account.
When finished, log into the new account.
YouTube Kids.
There’s a YouTube app available
specifically for children, which
censors adult content and has various
parental controls and restrictions
built in. If you manage the apps on
your child’s iOS device, you might
want to download this instead of the
regular YouTube app.
