Eleven years after their first date,

Camilla Luddington and Matthew

Alan—with their 2-year-old daughter

Hayden by their sides—tied the knot

in front of 70 of their closest friends

and family in an intimate ceremony

overlooking the California coast on

Aug. 17. The actress, who is best

known for her role as Dr. Jo Karev on

Grey’s Anatomy, and her longtime

boyfriend, who stars on the upcom-

ing season of Hulu’s Castle Rock,

said their “I dos” at the Ritz Carlton

Bacara hotel in Santa Barbara.

Luddington, 35, who walked down

the aisle to the Temper Trap’s “Sweet

Disposition,” couldn’t wait to greet her

future husband. “I was told to take my

time and walk slowly, but I wanted to

race to the end to see him,” says the

actress, who wore a custom couture

gown by designer Mira Zwillinger. “We

both just couldn’t stop staring at each

other and smiling.”

At the beach-inspired reception,

Luddington and Alan, 41, shared their

first dance to Rihanna’s “Love on

the Brain,” and guests enjoyed

brick-oven pizza, a custom dessert

station and spicy margaritas. “It’s one

thing to talk about what you hope your

wedding will look like, and it’s another

when you actually see it come to

fruition,” says Luddington. And now?

“Matt and I have wanted this for a long

time. I’m looking forward to finally

getting to call him my husband!”
