Stella McCartney has launched
a new capsule collection inspired
by the iconic Beatles film “Yellow
Submarine”. It all started when she
went to a screening for the digital
relaunch of “Yellow Submarine”
and it affected her in a way that
she hadn’t expected, especially the
idea of bringing people together.
Called All Together Now, the
capsule collection explores motifs,
playful graphics, slogans and iconic
scenes into key pieces of apparel
in rich color palette. Like all of
McCartney’s clothing, the whole
range is made using sustainable
materials, including organic cotton
jersey and denim, regenerated
cashmere and sustainable viscose.
The menswear collection consists
of button-up shirts, outerwear, and
embroidered sweatshirts. For true
Beatles fans, these are definite
most have.

For Good Cause

Committing to a better future for the world’s most vulnerable

children, Bvlgari began their joint venture with the Save the Children

foundation back in 2009. Fast forward to today, the Roman jeweler

and the international NGO celebrate a memorable milestone by

launching a new pendant – enriching the custom-made Save the

Children jewelry collection. The new pendant in sterling silver and

onyx is inspired by the iconic BVLGARI BVLGARI collection,

reimagining one of the maison’s most distinctive designs. The hard

stone disk is encircled by the bold double logo and topped by a

precious red ruby from Mozambique, while the back of the pendant

unveils the charity’s logo with its promising and hopeful message.

Also on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the partnership,

Bvlgari Jewellery Business Unit Managing Director Mauro Di

Roberto visited a project site in Limpopo, South Africa, to observe

the impact of this partnership in one of the areas where it operates.

Prada is taking steps forward for sustainability. After
announcing that the Italian luxury house would no longer use fur
last May, now Prada is launching Re-Nylon. The eco-friendly line of
iconic bag silhouettes is made with a progressive new nylon called
Econyl, a 100-percent regenerated fiber made from plastic waste
collected from the oceans, fishing nets and other textile fiber
waste. Re-Nylon is a bold move towards total sustainability, an
ultimate goal for Prada to switch all of its virgin nylon to recycled
by the end of 2021. The Prada Re-Nylon collection reintroduces
six classic Prada bag silhouettes: the belt bag, the shoulder bag,
a duffle and two backpacks. The entire range is produced from
environmentally friendly materials, bearing a unique interpretation
of the iconic Prada triangular logo.
