tree is reduced to allow the tree to focus on the
grafted branch. This will ensure a speedy and more
successful union between the two

Finished in just six years

July 2018 Height: 13 cm Width: 30 cm
Just six years after the graft was performed,
the tree is in a finished state and can be
displayed next year

After work is finished.
The best time for grafting is the middle of May. It is important
that both the stock and donor trees are vigorous and have
been well fertilised beforehand

So that the donor branch can be fixed in the
ideal position, the base of the donor branch
is wired

The donor branch is placed in the channel and fixed The graft is complete. If all goes well, the union will
be complete within a year and can be removed

just been removed and it's ready for further
work
