Read Sophie’s description of this land-

I took this one in Ukraine last summer.

It looks so peaceful, doesn’t it? It looks

as if the world were just waking up. The

sun is on the horizon, rising from behind

a cloud over the mountains. It gives a

sense of a new beginning. The bright

little flowers in the foreground add more

colour and life. In the distance on the

left, the mountains are misty and calm,

in contrast to the stronger colours of the

sunbeams on the right. You can almost

feel the warmth of the sun. The picture

reminds me of a landscape painting.
