Despitebattlinga fewtractionissues,FullForceDiesel’s4,800-pound6.70Indexcreationclickedoffa 6.94at
101 mph.Later,driverSteveConstablewouldalsocollect7.02and7.07-secondtimeslips.Withthetruckmaking
thequarterfinalsatRudy’sODSSSeasonOpenera fewweeksprior,Constableandteamdefinitelyhavewhatit
takestorun6.70sconsistently.

One of the quicker full-weight 7.3Ls to hit the track belonged to Mike Satkowski. Right off
the trailer, his ’97 F-250 went 7.64 at 89 mph. His setup revolves around a built engine with
Carrillorods,300/200hybridinjectors,anda 5-bladeS468fromStainlessDiesel.

Forthosethathadneverseenaninline8 pumpbefore,UnlimitedDieselPerformance
allowed7.3Jamboreepatronstocheckoutthe 13 mmP-pumpthatoncefueledtheirone-off,
7.3L-poweredpullingtruck.Inadditiontothemechanicalmonsterondisplay,thecompany
alsohada boothfullofbrand-newsetsofHEUIinjectorsforsale.

Daniel Klunk lugged his two-wheel drive, 11-second OBS some 700 miles from
Pennsylvania to play with all of his 7.3L friends. His F-250 would also take a wild ride down
thedirtdragtrackandevenhooktothesled.

ThefolksatKCTurbostraveledallthewayfromtheirApacheJunction,Arizona,
headquarterstobea partofthisyear’s7.3Jamboree.Thedrop-inturboexpertshave
becomea householdnamein7.3Lperformanceinrecentyears,andtheirproductsproved
morethancapableofcompetingattheJamboree—especiallythroughtheeighth-mileand
atthedirtdrags.
