SPECIAL IMMERSION IN PUBLISHING

Otis Books publishes contemporary fiction,

nonfiction, and poetry, with a special interest

in work in translation and writing from and

about Los Angeles. Students are involved in all

aspects of the press’ activities, from selecting

and editing manuscripts to designing books,

managing production, and marketing. Alumni

have gone on to start their own presses and

work in independent publishing.
