Chat It’s Fate – September 2019

(Michael S) #1
Dear Roi

I

dreamt that I’d kicked my husband out of the
house, but then voices said to me, ‘Don’t do
that.’ I looked up and saw a fi gure emerging at
the window, so I tried to scare it away, but it kept
reappearing until I could see all of it. The fi gure
then said, ‘Do not be afraid, I am your spirit guide
Caravaggio.’ My husband complained the next
day that I woke him up in the night having what
he called a nightmare.
Jane Palfreyman, 39, UK

Dear Jane
Something’s infl uencing how you feel about
your married life with your husband. While not
necessarily a negative infl uence, it’s certainly
giving you food for thought,
at least. Are you entirely
content with your
husband lately? Is
there something
about him that’s
been causing
you concern? It
might be time
for a frank
discussion with
him...

Dear Roi

I

had a dream I was sitting in a hover-
chair - a plastic seat that fl oated just
above the ground - with a stranger who I
was talking to about signifi cant events

in my life. Weirdly, we were travelling
around the edge of a big, deep lake as
we talked. I kept trying to ensure they
understood the details of my life exactly
to the letter as I described it, and
although I felt happy and comfy enough
in the chair, I was afraid of the possibility
that I might hurt myself.

Dear Demi
It looks like you want to ‘take stock’ of
everything that’s come to pass in your
personal life, and get all your ducks in a
row somehow. You feel you’re in a
position of some security, safety and
comfort, but you’re defi nitely still aware
of the possible pitfalls and tricky
obstacles life can still try to trip you up
with or throw your way...which I would
say is a very wise perspective to have!

Just hanging around

Dear Roi

W

hat does it mean to dream of jellyfi sh? I
was in the water, about to swim over a
wave, when I saw loads of them directly in front
of me - which is when I screamed and woke up.
Ang Grove, 42, Maryland

Dear Ang
Oof! Jellyfi sh are defi nitely not something
you want to come across in your dreams. They
represent initially innocuous or benign
infl uences that actually prove to be quite
dangerous or damaging, especially
emotionally. However, the fact that they were,
mercifully, only in front of you, as opposed to
all over you, means that you’ve spotted the
threat that’s around you. You can now take
evasive action!

I

n the 1970s, there was a small,
British synthesizer manufacturer
called Electronic Dream Plant. Formed by
Adrian Wagner, a descendant of the famous
German classical composer Richard Wagner,
and electronics whizz Chris Hugget, their quirky
little musical devices had cute, insectoid-like
names like Wasp, Gnat, Spider and Caterpillar.
Although their machines are now much sought
after, it was never much of a commercial success
for them - but it was certainly a lovely electronic
dream while it lasted.
