Harris says, “With 620
horsepower to the tires, but
a relatively stock-sounding
exhaust, the car catches a lot
of unsuspecting Chevys off
guard.”

is no stranger to the Blue
Oval. “I’ve owned too many
Mustangs to count with too
many broken trans-
missions and speeding
tickets.”

The exterior features
a Saleen body kit and rear
spoiler, along with a Steeda
2-inch cowl hood to clear the
blower. A Stayfast convert-
ible top was installed by
Jason Rathbun of Showtime
Upholstery in Rome, Geor-
gia, and sprayed in its factory
Oxford White hue by Green’s
Collision and Fabrication
out of Dallas, Georgia.
Interior modifications
include a Dakota Digital

VHX gauge cluster, a Ken-
wood single DIN stereo, and
a Kicker 10-inch subwoofer
powered by a 600-watt
amplifier. Harris added 1986
Mustang black seats with
Halo headrests covered in
factory leather. A four-point
roll bar was also installed to
keep him safe and sound.
“I love the fact that I
can get in the car, turn the
key, stomp the gas, grab the
gears, and haul ass!” says
Harris.
Currently he owns a
1970 LSA-powered Chevy

Going from the factory 5.0L
pushrod to a built 347 with
a Paxton Novi 2000 blower
still wasn’t enough power for
Harris. Now tucked inside the
engine bay is a 2004 Termina-
tor motor that makes 620 hp
to the tires.
Harris added 1986 Mustang
black seats with Halo head-
rests, all covered in factory
leather. Other interior modi-
fications include a four-point
roll bar for safety, a Dakota
Digital VHX gauge cluster, a
Kenwood single DIN stereo,
and a Kicker 10-inch subwoof-
er powered by a 600-watt
amplifier.
