TARGETING SELECT CLIENTS

Sports cars are characterized by their special

designs and high power. “A small difference

in the specs of the car make the choice for

the client,” said Ghorra. Clients need a fast,

safe and luxury car. Serving the clients’

desire to drive Grand Tourismos (GTs),

manufacturers also offer luxurious four-door

sedans with sporty characteristics. These

sedans are promoted as sports cars. The

Mercedes Benz AMG GT sedan offers high

performance with 429 HP, in a comfortable

four-door vehicle. The car brands try to

enforce their relationships with their clients.

Bentley has extended the warranty of its cars

to achieve enhanced customer confidence

in the company. Bentley gives a three-year

warranty at unlimited mileage. Now the

warranty may be extended to seven years.

LUXURY DESIGNS
The high-end design of sports cars appeals

The new Bentley Continental GT features
a wide, low body with a pre-programmed
sequence of exterior lighting. The design is
modern and both luxurious and sporty at
the same time, according to Ghorra. “We
started to have clients under the age of 40
thanks to the modern features that have
been recently added to the car,” Ghorra said.
The Huracán Evo Spyder from Lamborghini
was designed with the aim of eliminating
the roof, without having to sacrifice any
of the car’s aerodynamics or rigidity. The
more rigidity and torque, the more the
car can bear in terms of distortion. This
year’s Porsche S models keep the exterior
design identity, but the entire outer shell
is now made from aluminum. The models
come with redesigned interiors with clear
lines. The Corvette C7 Grand Sport 3LT
“Carbon 65 Edition” blends visible carbon-
fiber exterior elements with a new Ceramic
Matrix Gray exterior color. The lower front
of the Ferrari F8 has also been redesigned.
The hood has been re-sculptured and the
headlights have been redesigned to be
more compact.

INVESTING IN TECH
Bentley has invested in the technological
elements of its new GT model. “The
technological features were almost absent
in previous models, according to Ghorra.
Electric steering improves feedback to the
driver so that it always feels balanced for the
driving conditions. Several new software
features are installed in the Ferrari F8, and
are controlled via the famous Manettino
Drive Mode switch on the steering wheel.
The car is equipped with Ferrari’s latest Side
Slip Angle Control traction and stability-
control program. Additionally, the Ferrari
Dynamic Enhancer, an electronic program
for managing drifts, can now be used in the
Race driving mode. A touchscreen display,
which insures enhanced connectivity, is a
common feature for this season’s sports

A SAFER DRIVE

Safety specifications are increasing to ensure

a comfortable ride for drivers. Manufacturers

went beyond the normal safety systems such

as those that alert the passenger to put on

their seat belt or parking assist systems.

The 48V Active Roll Control system of the

Bentley GTC senses road conditions and

changes the car’s movement instantaneously

to enhance handling and ensure a smoother

and safer ride, according to Ghorra. As with

other Porsche models, the Carrera models

feature the Wet Mode function. This detects

water on the road, preconditions the control

systems accordingly and warns the driver,

who can then set up the vehicle for enhanced

safety. McLaren continues to make a carbon

fiber chassis. This allows for additional

safety since carbon fiber is stronger than

aluminum, according to Toubbeh.

CUSTOMIZED OPTIONS

Automakers are also offering customization

services. Customers may design their own

car down to its small details. Customers of

Bentley and Lamborghini may contact the

dealer and select their own car. The new

Continental GT is built by hand, offering

limitless scope for personalisation. The

manufacturer offers a wide range of options

available for both the interior and exterior of

the car, including color, seat textile choices

and technical options, according to Ghorra.
