Royal Selangor Singapore turns 50

this year and at its golden jubilee

celebration held at Shangri-La Hotel

Singapore, the conversation fl owed as

freely as the cocktails did. The aff air,

which honoured the brand’s pioneering

employees and their contributions, led

guests on a journey down memory lane

through the specially curated heritage

gallery that traced the powerhouse’s

history. And in a show of the ubiquitous

craftsmanship the brand is known for,

long-time employee Wong Suet Mooi,

who has been with the company for

over 50 years, wowed guests with a live

demonstration of the art of engraving.
