selection will be made at a later date.

Aergo Capital (Ireland) has acquired one A321-200, serial 4461, from
AviaAM Leasing (Lithuania). The aircraft is subject to an operating
lease with SmartLynx (Lithuania).

AeroCentury (US) expects the sales of two older off-lease turboprops
and a spare engine to occur in 2Q19. The portfolio currently consists
of 22 aircraft, spread over nine different aircraft types. The company
also has one engine and five turboprops that are held for sale.

Air Lease (US) announced a long-term lease placement for one new
B787-10 with KLM (Netherlands), scheduled for delivery in spring


  1. The B787-10 aircraft will be delivered from its order book with
    Boeing.
    Air Lease (US) has announced long-term lease agreements with Air
    Caraibes (Guadeloupe) and sister carrier French Bee for three new
    A350-900s and one new A350-1000, on lease from ALC’s order book
    with Airbus. The three A350-900s are scheduled for delivery in June
    2019 through to 2020, with the A350-1000 delivering in autumn 2021.
    The company has also announced long-term lease placements for
    six new A330-900neos with Virgin Atlantic (UK), scheduled for delivery
    to the airline starting in 2021 through 2022, again from ALC’s order
    book with Airbus.
    Air Lease (US) has announced long-term lease placements for two
    new A320neo and two new A321LR aircraft with Peach Aviation (Japan).
    The four new aircraft are scheduled for delivery to Peach starting in
    2020 through 2022, again from ALC’s order book with Airbus.
    Air Lease (US) announced long-term lease placements with Sky
    Airline (Chile) for three new Airbus A321-200neos. Scheduled for
    delivery to Sky starting in 2020 through 2021, the three new A321-
    200neos will deliver from ALC’s order book with Airbus.
    Air Lease (US) is to deliver one new A350-900 on long-term lease
    to Sichuan Airlines (China) from its order book with Airbus and joins
    eight other Airbus aircraft currently on lease from ALC to Sichuan
    Airlines. It has also announced long-term lease agreements for 10
    A321neos to the airline, also for delivery from ALC’s order book with
    Airbus, starting in 2021 through 2022.
    The company has announced a long-term lease agreement for one
    new B787-9 with LOT Polish Airlines. It is scheduled for delivery to the
    airline in spring 2020 from ALC’s order book with Boeing.
    Air Lease (US) has purchased and subsequently leased one new
    A330-900neo, serial 1890, with Trent 7000 engines, serials 75052 and
    75054, to Air Mauritius.
    Air Lease (US) has delivered one new A330-900neo, serial 1884, on
    long-term lease to Air Mauritius. Featuring Trent 7000 engines, it is the
    first of two -900neos to be delivered and has been followed by A330-
    900neo, serial 1890, with Trent 7000 engines, serials 75052 and 75054;
    both are from the company’s ALC order book with the manufacturer.
    The company expects to see continued delays and adjustments in
    its delivery schedule from Airbus, probably into 2021. It has signed an
    LOP for 100 aircraft, including 50 A220-300s and 27 A321XLRs. The
    agreement also includes an incremental order for an additional 23
    A321neos.
    Air Lease (US) has recently established a new office in Hong Kong,
    headed by Jie Chen, EVP and Managing Director, Asia.
    Air Lease (US) may seek damages against Isavia (Iceland) following
    its attempt to collect a US$713,000 debt from ALC, which was owed to
    the Icelandic company by ALC’s previous lessee WOW air (Iceland).
    Isavia has detained an A321-200 as leverage.
    Air Lease (US) took delivery of 11 aircraft from its order book
    during 1Q19, representing approximately US$1.0 billion in aircraft
    investments. It sold six aircraft during the quarter for sales proceeds
    of $264 million.


Airbus A220 aircraft production in the US is one step closer to reality
as the first large aircraft components for the first aircraft have been
delivered to the Airbus US Manufacturing Facility.
Airbus delivered 81 aircraft in May consisting of four A220s (one of
which was the manufacturer’s 12,000th aircraft), 57 of the A320 family
including 47 neos, five A330s, 13 A350s & two A380s. It also received
an order for an ACJ320neo. The company is sticking to its 2019 delivery
goals of 880-890 jets as it makes progress in resolving industrial
problems at its Hamburg single-aisle jet plant. It says further

WestJet has expanded its codeshare partnership with Air France, as
the latter’s additional European service began carrying WestJet’s WS-
coded flight numbers from 18May19.

WestJet has updated its planned Boeing 787-9 aircraft services for the
winter 2019/20 season. The 787-9 aircraft will be introduced on
following routes:



  • Calgary – Kahului eff 31Oct19: 2 weekly (787-9 operates 5 weekly
    12Mar20 – 22Apr20)

  • Toronto – London Gatwick eff 23Oct19: 1 daily


Wizz Air [W6/WZZ] [Hungary] announced that, as part of the Indigo
Partners (US) deal, it has signed a MOU with Airbus relating to
exercising a part of its existing options for the purchase of 20 A321XLR
aircraft. The present order will be delivered over the course of three
years starting in 2023.
Wizz Air Holdings reported that fiscal 2019 net profit grew 6% to a
record $325.1 million, as total revenue rose 20% to $2.5 billion, and
total cash at 31 March 2019 was $1.6 billion.
Wizz Air ended its A320 Basel/Mulhouse – Osijek service on
14Jun19.
Wizz Air plans to open a base in Lviv in summer 2020.
The airline has celebrated its 15th anniversary with 200 million
passengers carried.
Wizz Air began flights from Kyiv to Athens and Thessaloniki on
20May19 and a Kiev Zhulyany – Leipzig service from 05Jul19, with
A320.
Wizz Air plans to station a fifth A320 at its base in Skopje during
late July 2019.
Wizz Air has announced the allocation of a sixth aircraft to its
Vienna base. The new A321 will join the fleet in the mid December
2019, enabling the start of six new services from Vienna to Alicante,
Bremen, Chisinau, Naples, Oslo and Porto.


Wizz Air UK [W9] [UK] will add two additional aircraft from summer
2019, taking the new UK fleet to 11 aircraft.


Xiamen Airlines [MF/CXA] [China] has joined the list of airlines from
China seeking B737 MAX compensation from Boeing.

Garuda Indonesia, covering the latter’s service to/from Beijing. The

regulators after it addressed the agency’s concerns.


Yeti Airlines [Nepal] will shortly introduce a new ATR72-500 to
become the 9th ATR of the airline company.
