Nafplion has set its mind on becoming the capital of top-
notch professional yachting. This year’s edition of the
Mediterranean Yacht Show attracted a lot of attention,
welcoming important international brokers and presenting
longer and younger yachts.
Yes, the Greek fleet does boast the crème de la crème of Mediterranean
yachting and, as a top destination, our country has all the necessary
ingredients to mark global developments and prepare future trends.
Once again the event with the largest number of luxury crewed charter
yachts in the world took place in Nafplion, placing Greek yachting
tourism at the center of global attention..
The 6th Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS), which was once again
organised by the Greek Yachting Association (GYA) in the wonderful port
of Nafplion, came to a close on Wednesday 8 May. The main objective
of the event was to show and promote the exceptional range of crewed
yachts available for charter in Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean
to an audience of international brokers. More specifically, over 450
industry visitors from 31 countries had the opportunity to meet the
yacht crews as well as to inspect the yachts available for charter and to
learn more about the options and features available.
