a Judge's Merit. Clever use of colour made the fans almost
dance across the surface with the machine quilting enhancing
the overall eff ect.

The Sampler Quilt Award and a Judge's Merit went to Edie
Bonham for her ‘Block Bonanza’ with fi fty diff erent pieced
blocks in this on point layout. Now we come to one of my
favourites, ‘Forever Flowers’ by Claire Tinsley. This quilt won
the Fabric Painting Award, the Dutch Quilts Award for Striking
Design and a Judge's Merit. A true work of art with delicately
painted fl owers of all sorts and hunt out the little bees.

The last few single awards are next. ‘Prudence’ pieced by
Tracee Provis, quilted by Harmony Quilts won the Computer
Guided Longarm Machine Quilting award. This pattern
