BUT THERE’S GOOD NEWS!

Even though CVI is a chronic condition, a few lifestyle changes
and proper treatment will help to reduce the swelling, lessen
the pain and help CVI suff erers get their stride back.

The goal of treating CVI is to improve blood circulation in the
lower legs, and a holistic approach to doing so is eff ective.
Circulation in the legs can be adversely aff ected by lack
of movement, poor posture, an unhealthy diet and certain
diseases, such as hypertension and diabetes.^1

Even though it may be tempting to
rest tired, sore legs, regular exercise
such as yoga, walking and swimming
will improve circulation.

Get up and move around frequently.
Sitting for too long encourages
blood to pool in the lower legs. If
you do have to sit or stand for long
periods, try to shift your position
frequently, and stretch out your
ankles, feet and legs regularly.

Keep hydrated by drinking
1.5 to 2 litres of water each day –
and maintain a healthy weight.

Make sure to follow a nutritious
diet, including plenty of fruits
and vegetables (particularly
those high in folic acid such
as broccoli, kale, green beans
and peas) and legumes such as
chickpeas and soybeans.

Reduce infl ammation and boost
circulation with a cool-water rinse
in the shower or bath.

Take Antistax® daily to relieve
symptoms of CVI.
