limey, when it comes
to fellas, Eileen can’t
half pick ’em. Having
said that she didn’t
want another psychopath on her
hands after Pat Phelan, she finds
boyfriend Jan is involved in the
human-trafficking ring run by
salon boss Rachel...
Rachel’s racket was recently
uncovered by Seb, who realised
Alina was a victim. Desperate to
save her, at the start of the week
he asks Faye to have a manicure
so she can slip Alina a note.
But when another girl does
Faye’s nails, Faye hands her the
letter and asks her to pass it on.
Big mistake! Seb then gets a text
from ‘Alina’, asking him to meet
her, but when he arrives at the
salon, Nikolai is lying in wait.
‘Seb thinks, “Okay, this scrap
is on, let’s get down to business,”’
says Harry Visinoni, who plays the
teen. ‘His survival instinct kicks in.’

Jan finds Seb unconscious
and drops him at A&E, and Abi
gets a call from the hospital to say
her son is injured. She tells Eileen,
and Eileen calls Jan, who says he’s
on a job in Birmingham.
Eileen is suspicious and heads to
the salon, where she finds her fella
with Rachel and Nikolai, loading
the fixtures and fittings into a van.
The cab worker is gutted as Jan
says he never cared for her, and she’s

terrified when a fight breaks out,
during which Nikolai smashes her
phone so she can’t call the police.
Eileen’s fearing for her life
when the cops suddenly raid the
joint – Seb has blown the whistle.
She’s arrested with the others, but
released without charge.
Seb returns home and is thrilled
when Alina calls by with a Salvation
Army worker and tells him she’s
been sorted with a safe house. But

when he begs her to keep in touch,
she refuses to make any promises.
Harry adds: ‘He’s heartbroken
as they say goodbye. He believes
she is the love of his life.’
Poor Eileen is equally upset,
having been taken for a ride by yet
another man. Can she find the
strength to bounce back?

Jane Hazlegrove, who recently joined the
Corrie cast as Gemma’s mum, Bernie Winter,
says she’d love to have scenes with Sally
Dynevor, who plays Sally Metcalfe.
‘We’re old mates,’ Jane tells us. ‘Weirdly,
when I was in the show as a teenager [playing
Sue Clayton back in 1985], Sally auditioned

for my part and didn’t get it, and then they
wrote Sally for Sally.
‘I’d love to have some stuff with her,
because I think she’s a fabulous woman. I was
always aware of her and I think she was of me,
so we kind of knew each other as kids. Now
here we are, mature women on the cobbles.’
