T
he situation is
critical this week
in Walford. As Phil
clings to life in hospital and
the faarmily rally around
his bedside, tensions are
running high and people
start to point fingers. Phil’s
attacker ends up in a state
of panic, and resorts to
shocking and dangerous
lengths to cover their tracks.
The police soon make
an arrest, but the resident
is later released without
charge, and the cops close
in on a different individual
as the evidence stacks up
against them. Is our guilty
culprit headed for prison?

I
t looked like Adam’s
affair with Habiba
was going to die a
messy death when
Honey caught them on CCTV
footage looking like more than
just friends. However, blind love,
combined with dentist Adam’s
ability to lie through his teeth,
means the pair are still meeting
up for secret sessions – as Iqra
discovers this week.
Iqra knows her sister has slept
with Adam, but thinks their fling
is ancient history – not only has
Habiba told her so, but her sibling
recently tasked gran Mariam
with finding her a husband.
Iqra isn’t the only one who
knows Adam’s been putting it
about. Billy’s long been aware of
Adam’s philandering and has
confided in Lola, while trying to
warn Honey about her man. As
Billy struggles to keep his ill feeling
towards Adam in check, Honey hits
him with some home truths.
Meanwhile, Iqra smells
a rat when her sister complains
of feeling ill and skives off work.
She heads home, where she finds
Habiba and Adam half-dressed...
Cowardly Adam scarpers, and
Iqra tries to make Habiba realise
that she’s being played for a fool.
But her words fall on deaf ears, and
her sister dashes off. Out in the
Square, Habiba is confronted by
Lola and, as they have a stand-off,
the peroxide mum gives Habiba
food for thought. As Habiba then
sets a trap for Adam, will she finally
see him for the love rat he really is?
Gary disgraces himself when
he turns up drunk to the grand
opening of Karl’s hip new tram
cafe, The 82, which Sheila takes
as a further sign that he’s guilty
of attacking Paul. But when
suspicious Harlow finds the
crowbar Sheila has hidden and
calls in the police, Roxy admits
it was Vance who clocked the
Robinson rogue and that she’s
been covering for him. Roxy
dobs Vance in to the cops, while
Gary’s innocence makes Kyle
sacrifice his own happiness and
he tells Amy to forget about
him and stick by his dad...
Elsewhere, Mark gives Chloe
his blessing to pursue a romance
with Elly, and Toadie is confused
when he shares a kiss with Dee.
Just as Dean starts to bond with
his long-lost sister Mackenzie,
he discovers she’s using him
to blackmail their dad, Rick.
With their high-profile father
embarking on a political career,
Mac is out to ruin his name and
wants $100,000 or she’ll tell the
press about his secret love child.
Dean is disappointed in Mac,
but when Rick finds Dean at Salt
and offers to set him and mum
Karen up with a nice house, he’s
conflicted – should he accept his
absent parent’s bribe to make
up for a lifetime of neglect?
Also this week, Justin’s
daughter Ava makes it clear to
Leah that she doesn’t approve
of their relationship, and Robbo
reacts badly to Tori’s news.
