Can Dr Enys rescue
George from the
depths of despair?
● DRAMA / 9pm / BBC1
You’d have to have a heart
of stone not to feel sorry for
George Warleggan. Sure, he’s
done some awful things in
his time and of course he’s still
rubbing shoulders with evil
slave trader Ralph Hanson,
but the sight of him trembling
with grief in nothing but his
nightshirt is something no
Poldark fan will ever forget.
Tonight’s episode sees Dr Enys
take pity on poor George and
offer to help with his recovery.
But there’s an immediate
setback when a violent mob,
still livid about the Wheal
Plenty mine disaster, decides
to take up arms and storm
Trenwith! Meanwhile, Cecily
learns she’s to be married off
to George. Dare we say it,
but so far this series is the
best yet! ★★★★★ HD

The Misadventures of
Romesh Ranganathan
● TRAVELOGUE / 9pm / BBC2
This week Romesh visits Mongolia, which he knows only
two things about – it’s thought of as the most remote place
on Earth, and Genghis Khan. His guide is TV star Ider-Od,
who introduces Rom to the Mongolian traditions of eagle
hunting and wrestling (Rom admits archery is a no-no
with his lazy eye). Cue some very small pants. ★★★★ LP

● MOTOR SPORT / from 12.30pm / Sky Sports F1
LIVE
Championship leader Lewis Hamilton remains
on course for a sixth world title as he races at the
Hungaroring, just outside Budapest (start time 2.10pm).
The circuit is one of his favourite hunting grounds and
he’ll be seeking a record seventh victory, equalling
Montreal’s Circuit Gilles Villeneuve as his most
successful track. Catch the race highlights on Channel 4
at 7pm. ★★★★ RMC
