WHAT WAS YOUR AUDITION FOR THE ROLE OF
ZOE LIKE? “I hesitated to audition for this
role because the breakdown description
was not me physically. I also didn't know
how to ride a horse! However, Lime Pictures
and Netflix, took a chance and offered
me the role. It was a bittersweet experience
because this was my first ever lead role and
I'm so grateful for the opportunity. But it's
been a little difficult because in order to play
Zoe, I have to leave my family and friends
for nearly four months to film in Wales.”
DID YOU ALWAYS WANT TO BE AN ACTRESS?
“Yes! Ever since I was a little girl! I haven't
dreamed of having another career. I can't
really see myself doing anything else.”
LASTLY, HOW DID YOU GET INTO ACTING?
“When I was three, I watched Barney and
Friends and Blues Clues and told my mum
I wanted to do that inside the T.V.! My first job
was becoming a model for a girl's clothing
brand. Modelling was an opportunity and
a side of the business I wanted to explore
to get my foot in the door.”WHAT SIMILARITIES DO YOU SHARE WITH ZOE?
“A lot to be honest. We are similar in that
she's not afraid of speaking her mind. But
I'm not quite as forgiving when it comes to
girls who aren't nice.”
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO ZOE? “To
be patient. Growing up is hard and some
lessons are harder to learn than others, but
everything happens for a reason.”
CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THE HORSES YOU
WORK WITH? “I work with Raven and she is
absolutely amazing. As Zoe, she is my main
horse. Throughout the season we build a
really strong connection to one another and
it's hard coming home because I miss her.”
DID YOU HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH HORSES
BEFORE THE SHOW? “I loved horses, but
I never rode or owned one until the show.”Ride of her life!
