Great for an Earth-conscious family weekend,
the FRIM-MNS Nature Education Centre (NEC)
will be organising a workshop on the different
kinds of forests found in the country, as well as
on the animals that inhabit them. Highlights of
the workshop are learning how camera traps
are utilised by conservationists in the field,
and actual footage of animals that have been
spotted. Fees are RM85 per child and RM50 per

The Bon Odori festival celebrating the
Japanese folk festival of honouring ancestral
spirits is back for the 43rd time! A long-time
display of Malaysian-Japanese relations,
this festival is perfect for Japanese expats

the cultural summer yukata and spend the
