Steamboat Art Museum
807 Lincoln Avenue, Steamboat Springs,
CO 80487, (970) 870-1755,

Established in 2006, the Steamboat Art
Museum has developed a strong reputation
presenting original artwork by living masters

whose work is relevant to the culture
and heritage of the West. Housed in the
iconic First National Bank/Rehder Building
(1905/1920), which is on the National
Register of Historic Places, the museum is
located in the heart of Steamboat Springs’
Creative District. The recent 5,000-square-
foot renovation pays tribute to the building’s

rich history and provides an exquisite setting
for its rotating exhibitions, including group
shows like the upcoming American Women
Artists exhibit Looking West, on view from
May 24 to September 2, and the current
James Morgan retrospective exhibit Moments
in the Wild, which runs through April 13.
