ll UK art clubs are invited to submita total

of five two-dimensional works that you feel

represent the diversity of styles, media and

subject matter embraced by your club members.

We will select our top ten clubs to exhibit their five

entries at the Pavilion Gallery at Patchings Art Centre,

Nottinghamshire from 12 October to 10 November.

‘The collaborative

nature of the Art

Club of the Year

competition is

unique. Artists often

work in isolation

and rarely curate.

This competition

offers the chance for

artists to see their

works as part of the

larger creative circle, and to witness how each

painting can play a part in enriching the

whole. Although only five paintings can be

chosen, the joy of looking at artworks not as

individual pieces but as how they group

together to create a dynamic impact is an

exciting project.
