This design work actually holds a funny

story, that tells us a lot about the

relationship between designers and their

non-designer bosses.

I made this page while I was working on

a redesign project for Adcore’s website, as I

was the head of design in the company at the

time. I received the UX instruction from my

boss and started the design process, totally

excited to create a fresh design for our old

boring website. Myself and another colleague

thought this design was beautiful but the

boss didn’t like it and I had to start again.

Despite that, I decided to save this design

anyway to include in my portfolio. When I

did include it, months later, it turned out that

this thrown-away design was actually very

popular online.

I am a UX/UI designer
based in Tel Aviv, Israel,
specialising in digital
designs for tech
companies, but I really
love to design
everything from homes
to clothing.

MY MONTH

What have you been
working on/doing this
month?
Last month was quite
exciting for me since I
just recently became a
freelancer and I’m still
adapting to this fun and
intriguing lifestyle. The
past month I designed
two printed books and
started UX and design
for some new websites.
I also started using
InVision for prototyping
and it’s a complete
pleasure, you should
really check it out.

Above Netanel went for a clear and clean layout for the site’s redesign, drawing

attention to key benefits and CTAs in the UI

Above The CTA (call to action) section – product shot,

short text and a button to seal the deal

Above The design has proven very popular online,

thanks to its blend of imagery and subtle colour palette
