then spray it over the wrinkle.Wrong white balance
Our subject’s skin tones are too
warm due to the camera’s incorrect
White Balance (WB) setting. This makes
her skin look too orange. Fortunately,
we can create more natural–looking
skin tones in a few clicks.Fix sweaty hotspots
Go to the Expert mode
workspace to see an adjustment layer
created by the teeth whitening process.
Click on the background portrait layer’s
thumbnail to target it. Press Cmd–”+”
to zoom in on those sweaty hotspots.Healthy skin tones
Choose Enhance > Adjust Color
> Adjust Color for Skin Tone. Click the
eyedropper on the subject’s skin. This
instantly cools down an orange hue.
You can then drag the Tan slider left to
continue reducing the orange intensity.Digital powder puff

teeth, grab the Whiten Teeth brush in
the Quick mode workspace. Adjust the
brush size to suit the shot and spray to
select the teeth. Use the + and – icons

SHOOTING TIPS
Avoid capturing common portrait problems
By shooting your photos more carefully, you won’t need to spend as much time
fixing problems using Element’s post–production tools. When snapping a portrait,
set your camera to burst mode (or hold your finger on an iPhone’s shutter button
to capture a rapid burst of consecutive shots). This will help you capture a picture
that doesn’t contain an eye blink. You can also avoid causing red–eye — if your
camera has a pre–flash option, turn it on. This triggers a burst of flash that makes
the pupils contract, stopping the main flash from bouncing off the subject’s retina.HOW TO Remove skin blemishes
