Quick-fix multitasking tips

1

Universal copy & paste
As long as your Mac and iOS devices are
both signed into the same iCloud account,
if you copy something on your iPhone such
as text from Safari, you can paste it on your
Mac. Select the text on your iPhone, tap
‘Copy’, then press Cmd+V on your Mac.

4

Drag and drop text
A good time-saver, if you highlight a
passage of text in one app then quickly click
and hold on it, you can drag it to a different
app (although this part can be fiddly to get
right). If you drag the text to your desktop
then a new text clip will be created.

5

Switch apps
There is a Mac shortcut that is older thant
you still might not be aware of it. If you pressth
or Cmd+Shift+Tab keys, you will be able tocyc
handy onscreen app switcher to quickly select
open apps. The Dock may be quicker though...
