Sometimes multiple effects can be applied to a video, but sometimes you
have to save it and then enter the video editor again to apply more.

Apply a filter
Open a video in Photos and tap the third
icon in the toolbar at the bottom to browse the
filters. Slide them left and right and select one.
Tap ‘Done’ to apply the filter and save.

Adjust filter effects
Select a filter and the maximum effect is
applied. Drag the control below the filters to
choose the amount to apply. Tap the video to
show before and after applying the filter.

Photos video editor
Find a video in the Photos app and tap it
to select it. Press ‘Edit’ in the top-right corner
to open the editor. Tap the second icon in the
editing toolbar at the bottom.

View the video
Tap the video camera icon or save the
view and re-enter the editor. Press Play to
watch the video and press ‘Revert’ to undo the
changes if you are not happy with them.

Auto-fix problems
If there are problems with the video,
press the first icon in the tools collection that
is displayed. This automatically applies level
corrections Photos thinks is best.

Apply multiple effects
Many effects can be applied to a video
at the same time. For example, select the
Vignette tool and apply it, then switch to
another tool like Warmth and apply corrections.

Manually adjust levels
You can start with nothing or with the
auto corrections. Swipe left over the tools and
select one by tapping it. Drag the widget below
left and right to apply the effect.

Zoom and check
You might need to zoom in to see the
detail, so spread two fingers to get closer. Tap
a tool to turn the effect on and off to see the
video before and after applying it.
