Student athletes from 69
universities around Europe
participated in the Kickboxing
competition. The kicks of the
fights for the medals were
showing the athletes’ strong
will and thrive for a place on the
victory podium. Both in men’s
and women’s competition, the
athletes competed in 2 tatami
disciplines: point fighting (PF)
and kick light (KL) and in 2 ring
disciplines: K1 style and full
contact (FC) in different weight
categories.The overall final ranking of
successful universities in the
Kickboxing competition on the
European Universities Games
in Lodz, has Eotvos Lorand
University (HUN) on the firstplace, Jozef Pilsudski Academy
of Physical Education in Warsaw
(POL) on the second place and
Hungarian University of Sports
Sciences (HUN) on the third
place of the podium of winners.
All participants in the kickboxing
tournament acted with honor,
fair play, respect in accordance
with these rules, making thematches to be a great thing to
watch.EUSA and the city of Zagreb, are
looking forward to organizing
the next EUSA Kickboxing
event as part of the European
Universities Championships in
