Collared Scops Owl
Binomial Name: Otus bakkamoena
The bird likes to hide behind the tree's leaves during the day. It can look scary because of
the big round eyes. Moreover, you can go on a rampage even if you hear his call, tremblingin your heart and soul. In fact, the bird is entirely innocent and shy. Like all other owls, the
Collared Scops Owl is a nocturnal bird. Common resident bird of Bangladesh. Found inmixed-evergreen forests of all divisions. Usually alone or in pairs.  At night they go out
hunting. The food list includes beetles, grasshoppers, lizards, moles, and small birds. The
breeding season is from February to April. During this time, they lay their eggs in naturalholes in tree trunks, woodpeckers', or abandoned nests of barbet birds.
