Crimson Sunbird
Binomial Name: Aethopyga siparaja
The Crimson Sunbird is a common resident songbird of Bangladesh. It roams singly or inpairs in evergreen forests, deciduous forests, mangrove forests, and small bushes almost
all over the country. They fly from flower to flower and eat honey and sing beautiful songs.Flower nectar is their main food, but insects and spiders are also eaten. Their breeding
season is from April to July. They lay their eggs in a pouch-like nest by stringing togethersome leaves in the overhanging bushes near the water.
