Lineated Barbet
Binomial Name: Megalaima lineata


The Lineated Barbet is a common resident bird of Bangladesh. Almost all types of forestsin Bangladesh, including the Sundarban, roam in open woodlands, gardens, and villages.
He wanders among fruit trees and bushes in search of food. Their favorite diet lists includefruit, flower honey, termite larvae, lizards, and tree frogs. During the summer, can hear
their never-ending calls. During the breeding season from March to June, they dig holesin tree branches, make nests, and lay eggs.
