Rose-ringed Parakeet
Binomial Name: Psittacula krameri
The Rose-ringed Parakeet is a common resident bird of Bangladesh. It canbe seen in all the localities, including all kinds of forests, in all the divisions.
They can also be seen roaming in groups in the Sundarban. Their breeding seasonis from January to July. During this time, they lay their eggs in the natural burrows
of trees, barbets' or woodpeckers' nests, or cracks in old buildings.
